BTC Junior Club: Nurturing Sovereign Minds.

Picture a world where children aren’t drilled with prescribed topics but rather inspired to question, create, and connect with others. That’s the heartbeat of the Bitcoin Junior Club (BJC) — Sovereign Generation. A vibrant initiative sparking joy and curiosity in small kiddos, teens, and entire families through financial literacy mixed with the magic of creative and critical thinking.

How It All Began.

Bitcoin Junior Club was founded by a couple passionate about raising 'sovereign generations'—that’s me (you may know me as Şelale or AZA) and my husband. Our main hub, www.bitcoin4youth.com, got launched in mid-2024, but many of its resources, including our own creations, have been in action for years.

In a nutshell:

A few years ago, as a creative 'escape' from my regular Bitcoin work, I started designing all kinds of visuals—open-source worksheets, puzzles, coloring pages, memes, stickers, and whatever sparked joy. As nomads, later, we often shared these with families during our travels, igniting kids' excitement and parents' curiosity. Sometimes, just spotting that iconic logo on a page would trigger interesting conversations—showing others that Bitcoin is far more than just some ‘techy investment stuff’. Yeah! It felt nice and fulfilling, like passing out little orange pills.

Along the way, I discovered quite many family-friendly projects with a similar mission to ours. Yet the problem? Most of them were (are) scattered and hard to find.

BJC: Education-fun zone for kids, teens and parents alike. All things Bitcoin + Creative Thinking: collected for you, created with you, or/and handmade by us.

That’s why one of our main goals became building a comprehensive hub where people can discover all kinds of educational resources, from our original content to existing initiatives in financial literacy, homeschooling, unschooling, STEM, artistic expression, and way more.

Why It Matters.

BJC isn’t just about Bitcoin—it’s about inspiring young minds and their guardians, as well as giving other projects a chance to be discovered.

This is a space where kids (ages 3–18) and their families can explore a plethora of topics, and—hopefully soon—will start sharing their own stuff: drawings, videos, memes, stories, quotes... In other words, co-running this project with us, firsthand.

Future Ambition. Long-term vision.

To support local meetups and major events with family-focused activities/resources/ideas—whether as ambitious as Bitcoin Para Niños (co-created by us at Adopting Bitcoin 2024) or smaller, simpler efforts requiring just a few hours.

And, the dream goes bigger...

Building on the past experience running unschooling/unconventional language camps in my mid-20s, we're also planning to start the 'BJC Summer Academy':

• A dynamic, multi-day retreat 'exclusively' for kids and teens (adults get limited access—specific visiting spots only, not full participation).
• Flexible program blending tech and creativity. Imagine: playful hackathons, collaborative art projects, meaningful experiences and, finally, long-lasting connections.
